Original Charles Schulz hand-drawn ''Peanuts'' comic strips, one of the few strips mentioning Snoopy's original owner Lila. Published 6 June 1968, Snoopy is visibly distraught over a letter from Lila, with Charlie Brown sweetly protecting Snoopy from her, even though he states in the final panel that he doesn't know who Lila is. Later that summer, Lila would be revealed as Snoopy's original owner, but who had to return him because dogs weren't allowed in the apartment where she lived. Snoopy would eventually visit her in the hospital, in the only strip that showed her. Strip measures 28.5'' x 7.5'', with United Feature Syndicate label on third panel. Split to center fold and strip is mounted to board. Light scuffing, mostly confined to margins. Very good condition.
