Sally Ride's Personally Owned Documents for the Launch Countdown of STS-7

Sally Ride's personally owned documents to prepare for the launch of STS-7 Space Shuttle Challenger, Ride's first mission into space. Lot runs ten pages and is dated 9 June 1983, with pre-launch flight schedules, ''Ground Rules and Assumptions'' for the flightcrew, Ride's travel authorization and even her Individual Pilot Flight Record. Regarding the flight schedules, individual schedules begin three days before launch, with one noting dinner at the ''Beach House'', where astronauts live before their missions. Interestingly, Ride's Pilot Flight Record has writing at bottom congratulating her on ''another first'': ''Congratulations Sally - another first for you - first MS [Mission Specialist] of your group to pass the 1K mark''. All pages measure 8.5'' x 11'', stapled at top left. Very good to near fine condition. With an LOA from CMG Worldwide who represents the Sally Ride estate.
