Sally Ride's personally owned STS-4 Space Shuttle Columbia Robbins medal. Unflown, with serial number ''155'' on rim, along with the Robbins and sterling hallmarks. Uniquely shaped oval medal features the mission insignia in relief on front, with 27 June 1982 launch and 4 July 1982 reentry dates on reverse, along with the names of astronauts Ken Mattingly and Henry Hartsfield. STS-4 marked the fourth Space Shuttle Columbia mission, after which the Space Shuttle program segued from test flight status to operational. Medal measures 2'' x 1.25'', housed in its original Robbins medal case. Near fine condition. With an LOA from CMG Worldwide who represents the Sally Ride estate.
