Sally Ride's personally owned Ph.D. dissertation from Stanford, which earned her a doctorate degree in Physics in 1978, a few months after being selected by NASA for astronaut training. Hardback book, bound in red cloth boards, is titled ''The Interaction of X-Rays With the Interstellar Medium'' and runs 108 pages. Ride's name and title of dissertation is tooled in gilt to spine. Measures 8.5'' x 11''. Light wear, overall very good plus condition. With an LOA from CMG Worldwide who represents the Sally Ride estate.
