Sally Ride's personally owned STS-41-D Robbins medal, the first flight of Space Shuttle Discovery. Unflown, with serial number ''110'' on rim, along with the Robbins and sterling hallmarks. Medal features the mission insignia in relief on front, and the astronauts' names on reverse along with the 30 August 1984 launch and 5 September 1984 reentry dates; STS-41-D was delayed by several months after an aborted first attempt in June resulting in a launch pad fire. Medal measures 1.5'', housed in its original Robbins medal case. Near fine condition. With an LOA from CMG Worldwide who represents the Sally Ride estate.
