Clyde Barrow autograph postcard signed, dated 30 September 1929. Before he became half of the 1930s crime duo of Bonnie and Clyde, Barrow sends a postcard from Mexico addressed to his mother, Mrs. H.B. Barrow in Dallas. He writes in pencil, ''hello Mother - just fine. We are in old Mexico. drunk as hell. Will see you in about 3 weeks. Clyde + Grace.'' Only 20 years old at this time, Barrow met Bonnie Parker a few months later, and would be dead within five years after a multi-state crime spree that captured the public imagination. A Mexican stamp is affixed to the upper right corner of the 3.25'' x 5.5'' postcard. Light soiling, else very good. Nicely framed with photographs of him and Bonnie. With JSA and PSA/DNA auction COAs.
