Called the album of a generation, Nirvana's ''Nevermind'' LP record album, signed by Art Director Robert Fisher, who explains how the clever album cover art came to be; the image of a baby attempting to grasp a dollar bill is said to perfectly embody the early 90s rejection of 1980s materialism. Fisher writes in full, ''I was working at Geffe[n] and heard they were to sign Nirvana. Being a fan, I asked to work on it. No one had any idea how big they would become. Kurt and Dave wanted a photo of a baby being born in water. I found a photo of a baby in a pool that they loved. We then hired Kirk Weddle to shoot a similar photo. I said it needed more and Kurt jokingly said lets add a fish hook. We spent hours thinking of things we could put on the hook until someone said a dollar bill. It was perfect! / Robert Fisher / Art Director - Designer - Nirvana - Nevermind''. Minor dings to corners, overall near fine condition.
