Lot of NASA memorabilia from the collection of John Howard Kimzey, NASA engineer during the Apollo space program. Lot includes:
1) Photo of Bruce McCandless during the first untethered spacewalk, inscribed ''To Howard Kimzey - With appreciation and best wishes - / Bruce McCandless / STS-11/-41B''. Photo measures 7.25'' x 9.5'', mounted to board and framed to a size of 11.75'' x 14.75''. Not examined out of frame, but appears near fine.
2) Original Apollo 8 Flight Plan dated 22 November 1968, complete in four sections. Some handwriting within, likely by Kimzey. Measures 8'' x 10.5''. Light wear, overall very good.
3) Original Apollo 8 Mission Operation Report Supplement, dated 19 December 1968. Marked as ''For Internal Use Only''. Runs 88 pages with fold-out map and measures 8'' x 10.5''. Light wear, overall very good.
4) Flag flown to the Mir Space Station aboard STS-91 Discovery. Flag commemorates Phase One of the Shuttle-Mir program, measuring 6'' x 4''. Presented with a NASA certificate to John Kimzey, framed to a size of 11.125'' x 14.125''. Near fine.
