Robert McCall oil on canvas painting measuring 24'' x 30'', depicting aerodynamic U.S. Air Force jets. McCall famously created artwork for NASA to illustrate the space race, and also for ''Star Trek'', ''2001: A Space Odyssey'' and the USAF, brilliantly capturing the excitement of high speed spacecraft. Painting measures 24'' x 30'', unlined in original frame measuring 31.75'' x 25.75''. Minor craquelure and indentations from wood backing. Very good condition.

Acquired circa 1970s by Robert Blake, who worked at Randolph Air Force Base managing all illustrative materials for U.S. Air Force Recruiting, and then by descent to consignor.
