Powerful display signed by Chairman Chiang Kai-Shek, President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Prime Minister Winston Churchill, the three superpowers present at the Cairo Conference in November 1943 during World War II. In addition to coordinating a unified attack on Burma, the Conference was devoted to plans for bringing Japan to heel, including returning territories such as Taiwan back to China post-war. The Conference also permanently elevated the status of China as one of the four world superpowers.
