The autograph inscription by President Clinton on the limitation page reads in full, ''To President and Mrs. Ford, With thanks for your wonderful hospitality on this beautiful Colorado weekend / Bill Clinton'', after which Hillary and Chelsea Clinton also sign, ''Hillary Rodham Clinton / 8/15/93'' and ''Chelsea Clinton''. During this weekend of 15 August 1993, President Clinton enjoyed his first vacation after taking office, even extending the family's Colorado visit to play an additional round of golf with President Ford, who hosted the Clintons along with his wife at their estate.

This gorgeous leather bound two-volume set is number 397 of a deluxe limited edition of 1,500, with watered silk endpapers, all edges gilt, satin page marker, illustrations throughout, and housed in matching leather slipcase with gilt lettering. Front of each leather board features a stamped illustration of the front entrance to the White House. Each book measures 6.25'' x 9.5'', housed in slipcase measuring 6.75'' x 10'' x 4.625''. Some sunning to spines, and a small bit of scuffing to leather, otherwise in near fine condition.
