Racket has been transformed into a homemade timepiece featuring a partial tennis ball at the center. This was likely a gift to Ashe, or a prototype for an upstart business; a sticker to verso reads, ''John M. Phelps Sr. / Tennis Time / 132 Cowberry Lane / Milford, PA...''
