Arthur Ashe's vest from his service as U.S. Davis Cup Team Captain in 1981. Ashe broke ground as the first African American named to the prestigious U.S. Davis Cup Team in 1963, on which he also played from 1965 through 1970, 1975, 1977 and 1978. In 1966 he was also named Davis Cup Captain and served in that capacity in 1967, 1971 and 1981. Red vest features navy blue trim and navy blue lettering. Adidas brand vest is size M. Fine.
