Woodstock Album Signed by Photographer Burk Uzzle & the Iconic Couple -- ''...Someone with a guitar here, someone making love there, someone smoking a joint...a bombardment of the senses...''
Woodstock album signed by photographer Burk Uzzle, who snapped the famous cover image of the couple hugging, and also signed by the couple, Nick and Bobbi Ercoline, who eventually married. This image, one of the most iconic of the 1960s, is said to have perfectly captured the essence of Woodstock, in all its peace, love and chaos. Each person writes their memories of the festival, with Uzzle writing in full, ''Gracie Slick of Jefferson Airplane was singing, bringing up the dawn, and just magically this couple stood up and hugged. They kissed, smiled at each other, and the woman leaned her head on the man's shoulder. I just had time to get off a few frames of black and white and a few off color. / Burk Uzzle / Alumnus-Life Magazine''.
Bobbi and Nick Ercoline also write, ''Someone with a guitar here, someone making love there, someone smoking a joint, someone puking his brains out, the din of the music you could hear above all of this - a bombardment of the senses. / Bobbi Ercoline'' and ''We heard a false rumor that a glut of cars had shut down the New York State Thruway, so we just got to thinking, we were never going to see anything like this the rest of our lives, ever. / Nick Ercoline''. Near fine condition. Accompanied by an LOA signed by all three.
