Rare BMI award for The Beatles song ''Yesterday'', presented in 1971 as the fifth time that the song achieved recognition status. Citation of Achievement was given to Don Kirshner, ''The Man With the Golden Ear'', through his ownership of ATV-Kirshner Music Group, which then owned The Beatles catalog. Certificate measures 12.375'' x 18'', with gold foil BMI seal and ribbon at lower left. Light toning and discoloration, and some holes on margin. Overall in very good condition.
