Winston Churchill letter signed, providing a letter of recommendation for one of his medical aides, Mrs. Johanna Sheppard. Dated 9 November 1959 on Churchill's Chartwell stationery, letter reads in part, ''...She has been trustworthy and skilful [sic] in the execution of her duties, and she has a most agreeable personality. I am sorry to lose her services, and I have no hesitation in recommending her. [signed] Winston S. Churchill''. Boldly signed by Churchill in black fountain pen. Letter measures 7.5'' x 7.25'', neatly trimmed along bottom edge. A few pieces of archival tape on edges, minor creasing, overall in very good to near fine condition. With PSA/DNA COA.
