Original ''Peanuts'' comic strip from 1953 by Charles Schulz, a very early strip published 10 January 1953, featuring Charlie Brown and Lucy. In this strip referencing Schroeder's passion for Beethoven, Lucy asks Charlie Brown to read a book to her, mistakenly giving him a biography of the maestro belonging to Schroeder. Strip measures 29'' x 6.75'', with United Feature Syndicate label on fourth panel. Archivally taped along edges on verso to mat. In nicely preserved condition, with virtually no toning. Very good plus condition.
