''Theodore Roosevelt'' signed document as President, dated 25 April 1906. Under the banner graphic bearing his name and title, the executive officer's signature appoints John R. Marshall as Postmaster for Yorkville, Illinois. A Post Office Department seal is affixed to the lower left, and the Postmaster General countersigns. Partially-printed document measures 21'' x 16''. Seal is significantly rubbed. Toning and slight curling to edges, else near fine.
