Sheldon Mayer artwork from the 1920s or 1930s, mostly of lions in action or in various comic poses, showing his skill as a cartoonist. In addition to the ink sketches, Mayer draws a few light pencil sketches, and also pencil doodles to the verso. Unsigned artwork measures 10.75'' x 13.5'' on flexible illustration board.
