Eddie ''Knuckles'' Cicotte signed photo. The pitcher, who was infamously implicated in the fixing of the 1919 World Series and banned for life from major league baseball, adds an autograph inscription to the verso reading: ''to my Friend / John Ferrel / Eddie V. Cicotte / White Sox''. Semi-matte photo measures 5'' x 7''. Cicotte's name typed on the border beneath his image has been hand-darkened with ink, else near fine.
