Rudolf Hess signed first edition of ''Reden'', a collection of 29 of his speeches. Munich: Zentralverlag der NSDAP, 1938. Bound in red cloth boards with the Nazi swastika in gilt at top, Hess signs the front free endpaper in black fountain pen, ''R. Hess''. Hess was one of the leading figures in Nazi Germany, at one point believing that Jews controlled the minds of world leaders, even Adolf Hitler, causing him to make poor military decisions. Text in German. Book measures 6.125'' x 8.875'', and runs 269pp. Light shelf wear, and some foxing to endpapers and edges. Overall in very good plus condition.
