Large service plate made for the Ronald Reagan White House by china makers Robert C. Floyd. Design features a white center with the Presidential seal in gilt, with a cobalt blue, burgundy and gilt rim. This is the White House china service used by the Reagans for everyday meals and important luncheons, such as that with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. Large service plate measures 12.125'' in diameter. Manufacturers mark on underside in gilt reads, ''White House Service / by Robert C. Floyd / Fitz and Floyd, Inc. / Fine China / 1983''. Pristine, near fine condition.
