Oil on canvas painting is from the ''Authors & Famous People'' series, no. 116, and was gifted to Bradbury at a birthday party for Forrest Ackerman, Bradbury's literary agent. Art is signed, ''2006 LJ. Dopp,'' at lower right. Striking portrait painting incorporates Bradbury's favorite themes including the planet Mars, carnivals and haunted houses. A COA from the artist is affixed to verso. Measures 16'' x 20''. Near fine. With a COA from the Ray Bradbury estate.
