Prince black and white costume, believed to be worn to an awards show in the late 1990s. Two-piece costume by Domenic Serio comprises a top and pants in white with black embellishments. Top in subtly ribbed white fabric features long sleeves and a plunging neckline with stand collar and applied black and gold design on upper half, with deep slits up the sides. White jersey pants feature black cord as side stripes, which finish as a G clefs at the ends of the legs. Accompanied by his 3.5'' high-heeled shoes with Prince's famous ''love symbol'' as a zipper pull in metal on both shoes. Off-white fabric shoes with leather lining feature metal reinforcements nailed into the space between the heel and sole under the arch. Designer label within bears the brand name Andre #1. Shoes measure 9.25'' from toe to heel. Some staining to costume and wear to shoes. Very good condition. From the collection of Mayte Garcia.
