Original costume sketch drawn and signed by legendary designer Edith Head from the 1975 film ''The Man Who Would Be King'' directed by John Huston and starring Sean Connery and Michael Caine. Head was nominated for Best Costume Design in 1976 for this film. Sketch depicts Caine's character ''Peachy'' in a 19th century-style suit, with various notes in Head's hand including ''India 1880'' and ''Michael Caine in 'The Man Who Would Be King'''. Signed boldly in pencil at lower right, ''Edith Head''. Sketch measures 8.5'' x 11'' and is mounted to orange art paper measuring 13'' x 20''. Some minor crinkling from mounting glue, else near fine.
