Intimate photograph of Ernest Hemingway and Adriana Ivancich at Hemingway's favorite Cuban bar. Standing side by side, Hemingway and Ivancich stare into each other's eyes while his close friend Roberto Herrera and an unknown man bookend them. After Hemingway's death, Ivancich released a book in which she detailed a secret love affair between the two. Ivancich claimed to be Hemingway's muse and the inspiration behind Renata, the heroine of his 1950 novel ''Across the River and into the Trees''. Black and white photo measures 8'' x 5''. In very good condition with some creasing and uneven top edge. From the estate of Roberto Herrera.
