Original Hal Foster preliminary artwork for the ''Prince Valiant'' comic strip, #1983 in the series. Pencil sketch was for the strip published on 9 February 1975, hand-drawn by Foster as the strip transitioned from Foster to John Cullen Murphy. Measures 8.5'' x 11''. Three hole punch, and paperclip impression at top, overall in very good condition. From the John Cullen Murphy estate.
