Jesse Owens signed photo of himself holding up his four Olympic gold medals from the 1936 Olympics in Berlin. His autograph inscription in black felt tip reads, ''To Bob- / My Best to a real nice guy- / Jesse Owens''. Owens' phenomenal series of wins at the 1936 games famously dispelled Hitler's philosophy of Aryan supremacy on the global stage. Glossy black and white photo measures 8'' x 10''. A few pinholes to margins and browning at edges. Signature and inscription are bold, overall in very good condition.
