Notorious B.I.G. set of mugshots and signed note, written from Delaware County Prison, Pennsylvania in June 1995 after he was arrested on a fugitive warrant. AKA Christopher Wallace and Biggie Smalls, Wallace here pens a note to one of his fans, writing ''TO: MEGAN / MUCH LOVE, 'THANKS 4 THE PHONE CALL!! / B.I.G.'' According to the notarized statement accompanying the lot, the note and photos were given by Wallace to a correctional officer at the prison, whose sister, Megan Scanielo, was a young fan of Biggie, and spoke to him on the phone while he was incarcerated. Megan writes, ''...In the summer of 1995, Biggie Smalls was arrested...At the time, my older brother worked part time as a corrections officer at the county jail. The night that Biggie was arrested, my brother was working...The next day, bored in jail, [Biggie] gave me a call. He laughed and we sang the song together and he was very nice. He told me he was going to send me his mugshots and a note...'' Biggie's color mugshots are indeed taped to the note. Verso of photo reads ''Polaroid'' ''B51303146'' and then with a larger number ''4'' next to it. Note measures 5.25'' x 8.5'' and mugshots measure 3.625'' x 2''. Folds to note, with bit of tape to top edge. Polaroid is slightly sunned with photo laminate starting to crinkle on right side. Overall very good condition. A very rare autograph from Notorious B.I.G., who would live less than two years after he wrote this note.
