Norman Rockwell signed artist proof lithograph measuring nearly 36'' x 20'' entitled ''America Marches Ahead'', a comforting image done in 1975 shortly after Gerald Ford assumed office after Richard Nixon's resignation. As the chronicler of American culture, Rockwell reminds Americans that they can rely on her country to recover from its problems. Lithograph is signed by Rockwell in pencil at lower right, and marked ''A/P'' at lower left. With blindstamp of publisher Eleanor Ettinger, Inc. at extreme lower left. Large lithograph measures 19.675'' x 35.5''. Minor uniform toning, overall in very good to near fine condition.
