Moe Howard handwritten draft for ''Three Little Pigskins'', the fourth Three Stooges film released by Columbia Pictures, hitting theaters in December 1934. Moe writes the two page draft on two separate sheets of Columbia Pictures Corporation letterhead, providing the genesis of the comedy parodying the Four Horsemen of Notre Dame by the Stooges as the ''The Three Horsemen'', and co-starring Lucille Ball early in her career. Undated draft in pencil reads in full,

''John Day President of the Short Last Sporting Goods Co. is giving his department head Joe Cole a sales talk telling him football is the greatest national pastime & the greatest users of the parapanalia [sic] are the kids. We must cater to the kids organize kids teams and give them prizes for the winners thereby erecting a demand for our goods. We must get 3 men as a window display to demonstrate the goods and give demonstrations [crossing out] on the fine parts of the game. Get three men out of various departments of our store and have it taken care of at once. Cole goes to the shipping department finds Larry asleep in a bin (or playing bridge) gets Curly out of the men's rooms (he is a janitor) and get moe who runs the elevator who he finds reading detective stories (or Whizz Bang). We show a newspaper insert reading that between the hours of 10 & 12 the 3 Flying Horsemen will appear in the window of the Shortlast Spt. & G Co and teach the children the art of the game & help to organize junior football teams which will be sponsored by the Ever. L. Spt. Go. Co. We show a man and his 3 boys reading the ad over his shoulder. We fade into the window of the Spt. good Co. where there are a crowd of boys & sprinkling of men watching Moe, Larry & Jerry in the window dressed in football outfits with different card signs. Finally card asks boys to step to the rear of store for further instructions the boys all crowd in. Fade out & into office of Joe Young. Proffessional [sic] football promoter who has just negotiated for the game between the college team & proffessional [sic] team. He tells Tom his assessment that he must get three players for the backfield otherwise the Proff. team wont stand a chance. He agrees and leaves as we fade into rear of store show Horsemen demonstrating stiff arm, tackling, forward passing in the aisles. Kids murdering[?] the horsemen. Knocking them all over the store, they ruin the store, driving customers into the street, explaining that at all times you must get the man with the ball, bring him down at all costs. For instance when a pass is thrown get your man. The boys throw ball by mistake the boss or customer catches it the boys knock him flat. Horsemen all bruised call a halt for lunch the boys leaving the store just as Tom looking for 3 players is about to enter he hears the remarks of the kids saying how great the 3 Horsemen are, they are greater than so & so and they beat so & so Tom taking it all in inquires from one boy where these 3 Horsemen are they tell him in back of the store, Tom rushes in sees the boys first bumping in the rear of the store. He yells to them, they stop he approaches asking them if they are taken up for the coming season, Horsemen reply No, not yet. He takes them to his office through streets in uniform.''
