Plaque awarded to All-Pro defensive end Bill Stanfill of the undefeated 1972 Miami Dolphins on 16 November 1992, the 20th anniversary of the perfect season. ''IN RECOGNITION OF THE TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PERFECT SEASON'' is engraved into mahogany plaque, along with the Dolphins logo complete with brass inlay. The '72 Dolphins remain the only team to win every game in a single season and also to win the Super Bowl, and Stanfill's sack total of 18.5 remains tied for a franchise high. Measures 9'' x 12''. Some nicks/scratches to wood and raised brass plaque. Overall very good condition.
