''Nassau County adopts The 'Mets' Dinner'' program, dated 16 April 1962, the first regular season for the team. The four page program includes a list of honored guests, including Mets manager Casey Stengel, and a menu. A photo on the back cover shows Stengel batting in a Mets uniform. Signatures on the front cover include Hall of Famers Casey Stengel, Richie Ashburn, Red Ruffing and Rogers Hornsby. A total of 22 signatures, all Mets players, appear on the front cover. Minor toning and creasing to 8.5'' x 11'' program, else very good.
