Mercury 7 signed invitation for a luncheon in their honor, scheduled for 10 October 1963. Six of the 7 astronauts sign the verso of the invitation in blue and black ink, ''Alan Shepard'', ''Gus Grissom'', ''JH Glenn Jr.'', ''Scott Carpenter'', ''Gordon Cooper'' and ''WH Schirra Jr.'' Measures 3.5'' x 6''. Light discoloration underneath signatures, otherwise near fine condition.
