Marilyn Monroe's first magazine appearance, from January 1946 when she was still known as Norma Jeane Baker. Working as a model, the twenty year-old Monroe appears here in the January 1946 issue of Douglas Aircraft's magazine ''Airview'', both on the cover and in four interior photos, showing off the plane's accommodations. Complete issue runs 24pp. and measures 8.625'' x 11.625'', bound on edge by two staples. Mild dampstaining to last few pages and light wear throughout. Very good condition.
