Lot of two typed letters signed by Charles Schulz, dated 11 March 1968 and 5 June 1969. Both letters are on Schulz's ''Peanuts'' stationery, with the 1968 letter also accompanied by the mailing envelope, showing Snoopy on his doghouse. Schulz writes to California artist Harold Mason, first thanking him for a letter, and then, in the second letter, expressing his pleasure in meeting him and thanking him for the book ''The Prophet'', a title that Schulz had already given to his oldest daughter. Each letter measures 6.25'' x 7''. Pinholes to both letters; small chip to 1968 letter, else near fine. A few holes and light chipping to 1969 letter, overall very good.
