Lovely trio of items from Theodore Roosevelt's presidency. First Lady ''Edith K. Roosevelt'' signs her franking signature upon a slip clipped from an envelope. Postmarked Oyster Bay, NY, 18 April 1927, it measures 3.75'' x 1.75'' and is in very good condition. An invitation card with gilt presidential seal is printed, in part: ''The President and Mrs. Roosevelt request the pleasure of the company of Mr. and Mrs. Thompson at...The White House...[18 January 1906]''. Measures 5.75'' x 4.75''. Near fine. Envelope also features gilt presidential seal. Lot includes a stereograph card of the White House State Dining Room where the 1906 event was likely held. Measures 7'' x 3.5''. Very good.
