Bronislau Kaper's Academy Award nomination plaque for his composition, ''Love Song From Mutiny On The Bounty (Follow Me)''. He won in this category, Best Song, and in another, Best Score. The film starring Marlon Brando, Trevor Howard and Richard Harris won Best Picture that year, based on the true story of a mutiny aboard an English ship bound for Tahiti. Such an achievement was the musical soundtrack that the movie itself became known for it. Nomination certificate is signed by Wendell Corey as 1962 Academy President and inlaid in a wooden plaque with a glossy finish and gilt trim. Countersigned by Hal Elias as Academy Secretary. Measures 11.75'' x 13.5''. Fading to a very small area of the black border at upper left corner and scattered nicks to the wood along the sides, else near fine.
