Official NASA Manned Flight Awareness medallion commemorating the 1975 Apollo-Suyez Test Project, a symbolic mission in which the two spacecrafts docked together as the first joint U.S.-Soviet space flight. Medallion measures 1.5'' in diameter and contains aluminum from both the Apollo and Suyez, with an embossed depiction of the two spacecrafts meeting. Coin is affixed to NASA award and is framed to an overall size of 11.25'' x 14.25''. Some foxing, toning and wrinkling to award; coin in mint condition. Near fine.
