Invitation and program to the Presidential Inauguration of Woodrow Wilson on 4 March 1913. Wilson defeated Theodore Roosevelt in the 1912 election, and was re-elected in 1916. The 6.25'' x 10'' card-style invitation reads: ''The honor of your presence is requested at the ceremonies attending the Inauguration of the President of the United States...'' Inside are two pages bearing the etched bust portraits and printed signatures of Wilson and his Vice President Thomas R. Marshall. Mild toning and wear. In very good condition. The program bears an embossed seal to the front cover, bound with a maroon ribbon. Runs 16pp. Measures 6'' x 8''. Light toning and soiling to covers with some very minor creasing to leaves, else near fine.
