1911 World Series ticket stub for game one between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Athletics. The Giants beat the A's, 2 to 1. Hall of Famer ''Big Six'' Christy Mathewson was the winning pitcher. The Athletics would go on to win the Series, 4 games to 2. This was the first year the teams traveled to each city for alternate games, with game one being played on 14 October at New York's Polo Grounds. General admission ticket measures approximately 1.5'' x 3''. Minor paper loss to verso, else near fine. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA.
