''Project Mercury / NASA / Capsule Flight Operations Manual'', published by McDonnell Aircraft Corporation, 1 September 1961. The manual covers operations for Atlas space capsules numbered 10 and above. The 5'' x 7'' three-hole punched pages include foldout schematics of various systems and ''Astronaut's Check List'' for pre-entrance, launch countdown and landing as well as emergency procedures. All are housed in a dark blue 6'' x 7.5'' plastic binder. Light toning, else near fine. Rare NASA collectible.
