Longtime "Prince Valiant" comic strip artist, John Cullen Murphy signed illustration of his heroic character. Murphy signs, "For John Travis from John Cullen Murphy / 1983" at the bottom of the sketch and writes "Prince Valiant before the siege of Fort Hunt" above. Pencil illustrated page was removed from a ring bound sketch pad and measures 11" x 14". Light toning, else near fine condition.
