The front page headline of this 17 August 1977 issue of ''The Commerical Appeal'' reads: ''Death Captures Crown of Rock And Roll -- Elvis Dies Apparently After Heart Attack''. A photo of The King signing autographs is featured on the left, opposite a photo of his hearse leaving Baptist Hospital. His life's story is printed on the front page, and an interior article reports on the crowd gathering to mourn at Graceland. Runs 12pp. Toning, wear at central fold, and a small stain to the upper left corner, else near fine.
