Thomas Edison autograph letter signed. The innovator of countless technological advancements keeps an eye on the bottom line, writing: ''Buchanan - Here is list of trucking / Keep this in front of you with a view of using Conveyors or other means to cut cost of trucking down - / Edison''. Lot includes the 2pp. document that Edison references, entitled ''Trucking Operations in Building #24,'' a breakdown of the daily costs of trucking. A rubber stamp dates the document as 2 October 1922. 1pp. letter measures 5'' x 8''. Significant toning to fragile paper as well as chipping and staple holes. Very good.
