National Flag of Poland flown to the moon and back on the Apollo 15 mission and signed by the Mission Command Module Pilot Al Worden. He inscribes the bottom edge: "Flown to the Moon on Apollo 15 Al Worden CMP". The flag left earth in the Command Module Endeavor on 26 July 1971. Inside the spacecraft, it orbited the moon for more than three days as Worden worked with NASA's latest moon research technologies and his fellow astronauts explored the lunar surface. Flag measures 6" x 4". Near fine.
