President William McKinley 1897 inauguration ribbon and pin. The 2.5'' x 6.75'' ribbon with 2.5'' gold fringe is stitched to 3'' pin that reads ''Inauguration''. Two stiched-on American flags flank the 1.75'' portrait of the Republican President, affixed to the ribbon with metal brads. Printing on the ribbon reads, ''Riverside Republican Club of the 21st Assembly District New York''. Whitehead & Hoag Co. label is affixed to the verso. Very good condition.
