Richard Nixon signed first edition, first printing of his political tome ''The Real War'' published by Warner Books: New York: 1980. Signed ''Richard Nixon'' to the limitation page in bold black felt tip. Authored by Nixon five years after his resignation, he writes that World War III between the U.S. and the Soviet Union has begun. Runs 341pp. Bound in red cloth boards with silver lettering and all edges silver. Red satin bookmark is sewn in. Includes original red cloth slipcase measuring 6.25'' x 9.25''. A pale shadow of Nixon's signature appears beneath his original signature, perhaps indicating that he signed over it. Near fine.
