Clark Gable leather flight jacket from his time in the U.S. Army Air Corps, which he joined in 1942, serving in the 8th Air Force as an aerial gunner and instructor in B-17's. Brown leather jacket is size 42, with a vintage leather name tag on the left breast stamped, "Clark Gable". The World War II-era jacket is accompanied by a 303rd Bomb Group Association circular unit insignia patch, a unit Gable flew missions with in England. Also accompanied by COA from David Spohn, official Clark Gable look-a-like of the 8th Air Force. Cracking to leather and minor wear to lining. Very good condition. With additional provenance from Christie's.
