Large cream soup bowl and saucer in the White House pattern, made for the official state dinner on 9 November 2000 to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the White House. Double-handle bowl features a raised white floral and leaf pattern against a pale yellow background with gilt accents. Bowl and saucer each carry the Lenox maker's mark on underside: ''The White House / 200th Anniversary / 1800-2000 / Lenox / Made in U.S.A.'' Bowl measures 4.875'' in diameter across the mouth and 2'' tall. Saucer measures 6.625'' in diameter. Fine condition.
